Antique Furniture and Mechanical Antiques Antique C1905 Mahogany sideboard

I have always had a soft spot for old furniture.

Since I was 18 years old I have scoured flea markets, and second hand stores in search of unloved furniture.

I would make it my personal mission to "beautify" these poor forgotten pieces by any way I knew how. I would paint them, or strip them and stain them, and later I created a lot of painted furniture that sold extremely well in my store. This expanded to restoring antique furniture and anything that had wood cases - like some clocks, gramophones etc.

Now some pieces you touch and some you absolutely do not. Do your research before you attempt this on your own.

This section features articles about antique furniture as well as mechanical antiques - anything that has a movement of some type. Click on the red underlined link next to the title.
