Do you have antique collectibles and / or furniture that you would like to sell but aren't sure where to sell them? Do you plan on passing them on to your family but don't know what they are worth and you want to make sure you are fair to everyone? We can help you. In business for fourteen years (with thirteen years of owning and operating our antique store "From Times Past" in Edmonton, Alberta), we have the knowledge and experience to help you make good decisions. In our capacity as your consultant we can give you advice about ways to disperse or divide your belongings. We will provide you with information on what you can expect to get for your goods, often right on the spot. For special items, we do the research and let you know later either by email or written response. The choice is yours. Are you the executor of an estate? We can provide you with a written estate evaluation based on what the market trend is at this time for such objects. Although we are not professional appraisers, our experience and knowledge will go a long way to fulfilling the obligations of the executor. For those special situations where a professional appraiser is best we will gladly provide you with a referral. We can also share our favorite ways for successfully dividing your treasures in a way that is fair to everyone involved. We can also help you sell your belongings. We come right to your door and identify those items that are the most marketable and give you an idea of their value. Armed with this information we help you determine the best selling strategy . We will take photographs, (with a small fee per photographed item) and post them on our web site and sell them that way, or we can have a private sale at your home or even in your storage facility if it's allowed - what ever works best for you.
