For the last fourteen years that Johanne Yakula has had her own business, she has been called upon to give her opinion on decorating, restoring and preserving heritage homes. Her knowledge about antiques has made her a sought- after speaker and teacher. Her painted furniture made her popular with magazines and newspapers whose readers wanted to learn about how to create works of art from furniture they had at home.
